On Gavin's birthday, I arrived at his place early, but to my surprise, nobody was home. As I was getting nervous about what to do, he appeared looking totally shocked!

After finding out that Gavin's kitchen didn't even have salt, we went out to a supermarket. As we were preparing to leave, he made a stubborn request in the children's section.

Preparing his birthday meal had some hitches, but when the first course finally came out, it succeeded in capturing Gavin's stomach. I want to do this every year from now on.
