I came to the road I knew the special ops team was going to come back through and waited for them. Gavin could hardly believe it, but a tender smile showed on his face.
Section 2
I took Gavin to a city park and had a "surprise trip" for a day with him. He asked me if this aviation park was the "surprise", but I shook my head enigmatically.
Section 3
A formerly amazing plane was now just a tourist attraction. Perhaps only the ginkgo leaves remember. Gavin told me about making a model airplane in middle school, which makes me regret.
Section 4
Back at the bed and breakfast, I gave the little airplane and medal to both 14-year-old and current Gavin. He took the gifts and told me he'd never let me go.
