Dialogue

Shaw: Have you watched that documentary I recommended to you earlier?
  • Option 1
MC: I already finished it. What a shame all those precious artifacts were lost.
Shaw: Faster than I expected.
Shaw: Glad it piqued your interest.
Shaw: Anyways, come out with me this afternoon.
  • Option 2
MC: How did you know I'm watching it right now? Are you spying on me?
Shaw: You said you were free. I took a random guess.
Shaw: I don't need to spy on you to know what you're doing. I can simply guess it.
Shaw: Why don't you hit the pause button for now. I've got a place I want to show you this afternoon.
  • Option 3
MC: Uhhh... I... I was planning to watch it today...
Shaw: I figured as much.
Shaw: Forged about it for now.
Shaw: I've got something that I want you to come along.
  • Option 1
MC: Where are we going, though?
Shaw: There's an exhibition on desert cultures; you'll see many artifacts from the documentary on display there.
Shaw: You'll need some first-hand experience to film a compelling show.
Shaw: I'm sure you'll learn much more by seeing those artifacts with your eyes.
  • Option 2
MC: I know. You're taking me to that cultural exhibition!
Shaw: You're awfully observant today.
Shaw: You're not going to see the murals and statues on display today anywhere else. I'm sure they'll give you wonderful ideas for your show.
Shaw: You'll also have me as your personal tour guide into the distant past.
  • Option 3
MC: Sure. I'm free today. What time is good for you?
Shaw: There's no hurry. I'll go to your place first.
Shaw: You can't just get all your sources on desert culture from a documentary.
Shaw: You've got to see it with your eyes and breath it in.
  • Option 1
MC: You seem awfully keen on going. Why are you so invested?
Shaw: Because my teacher took part in the project, and I helped out for a few days.
Shaw: Speaking of which, a few restored musical instruments are also on display.
Shaw: I thought you were into that kind of stuff. Tell you what, if you buy me dinner, I'll consider carrying your filming equipment.
  • Option 2
MC: Wow, thank you Master Shaw! What should I bring besides my camera and notebook?
Shaw: You just worry about keeping up with me.
Shaw: That being said, I remember there's a special display on restored musical pieces.
Shaw: Bring something to record if you don't want to miss it.
  • Option 3
MC: I just did my research. The exhibition is huge! I want to take my time looking through everything. Can we go now?
Shaw: Then you'd better start to get ready while I head over. I don't want to sit around waiting for you to put makeup on.
Shaw: Just because I'm feeling generous today, I'll carry your recording equipment for you.
Shaw: But you'll have to buy me dinner tomorrow in exchange.
