When I arrived at the Holy mountain, the legendary haunt of the Qilin, I encountered a man clad in white. He bandaged my scrape and told me his name was Gavin.
Gavin took me up to the summit where the Qilin was said to be found, but I could find was a sheer drop. Suffering the effects of poison, I fell off the cliff, and glimpsed Gavin in his true form...
Gavin saved me, but the people from the Temple had arrived at the mountain. I decided to go back with them to the Temple to spare Gavin from their prying eyes. Then one night during my captivity, the jade ring Gavin had given me broke...
Gavin easily put an end to the disaster, and the village held a big celebration. During the ceremony, Gavin appeared, out of thin air, and asked me if I wanted to go with him. Looking into his eyes, I slowly nodded.
