Dating Diary
SE, a portfolio company of LFG, went through a heavy operational loss. After several sleepless nights, Victor finally came to a decision on how to handle the matter. He was exhausted.
As I tossed and turned wondering if something major had happened to LFG, I received a phone call from Victor. His usually calm voice eased my anxiety and put me to sleep.
After Victor came back in the afternoon, we started doing our separate work. But I couldn't focus. I kept finding my eyes drawn to him, and that took a toll on my efficiency. Just then, Victor got a phone call. Was that another emergency calling him away?
When I got back from doing chores, Victor was already lying in bed. He had been worn out by work and I felt sorry for him. So I decided not to disturb him; I just silently watched him sleep.
