Dating Diary
At threat of sword-point from my crew, I leap into the sea. Luckily, a sailor I helped before hides me in a little boat, which carries me to unknown waters where there are strange snow flurries. Just as the little boat is about to be overturned by a huge wave, a man appears in the water and saves me.
The man who saves me is named Lucien. He lives in an abandoned temple on the island, and the melodies he plays can make the laurels burst into bloom. He can also manipulate water. All kinds of signs point to him being a mythical, enchanting siren of the sea... but he doesn't seem exactly the same as the legends...
While I'm in the temple, some mysterious force brings me back into the past, and I see a sea god that once protected the oceans. Legends say a siren slayed the sea god, but Lucien tells me that the sea god's fall was due to the loss of belief in him. In the past, the sea god had many believers. I warn him to beware the inconsistency of humans, but he seems more curious about me...
The snow on the sea fell heavier, and meanwhile, Lucien's long hair turned whiter and whiter. When it was completely white, Lucien cleared a path for me on the sea and sent me away from the island. Not long after I'd left, the power sustaining the little island seemed to fade, and it was slowly swallowed by the sea. Still worried about Lucien, I turned my boat back toward him. When I saws him, two faces from my memory began to overlap...
