Dating Diary
Gavin and I plan to meet at the Coffee House to go through some documents. He calls to say he'll be late. Something's come up.
I overhear two girls talking and rush to a nearby alley. There I find Gavin in a brutal street fight with some thugs! He flattens each one with cold efficiency, cleverly placing himself between me and his assailants.
Gavin takes me to the homes of an old lady lady where I discover he was protecting her grandson from bullies. Gavin is friendly and polite, a completely different person to the vicious streetfighter I saw earlier. The old lady mistakes us for a couple, causing us both to blush.
As we leave, the old lady hands us a Sugar Figurine as a thank you gift. Walking back, under the soft streetlights, I tell Gavin that I approve of his actions earlier that evening. I encourage him to eat the sweet we've been given. Sitting next to him on the park bench, watching him struggle to eat the lolly, I can't help smiling. Gavin certainly is a man of many faces.
