Summary
I saw some negative news related to LFG and thought Black Swan Collection was behind them, so I quickly called Victor. His response was rather indifferent, but at least he agreed to meet me!
I didn't expect Goldman to be the one who came to fetch me. From our chit-chat, I learned that Victor wanted me to attend today's charity banquet. When I arrived, I saw many reporters and staffs who were protesting at LFG outside the banquet venue. It felt strange to me and I planned to sneak into the crowd and get some news.
I met Victor, but he didn't want me to meddle in this situation. Later, while he was gone for a bit, I wandered to a quiet terrace where a man I don't know mistook me as his "acquaintance" and told me some shocking inside story of LFG. After accidentally revealing my identity, I was trapped in the reception room by him.
I finally managed to escape and, luckily, met Victor when I exited the elevator! After hearing me out, he was somehow not surprised and only reprimanded me for my recklessness. Relieved, I followed him to another room and met the man just now who planned everything.
I figured out from their conversation that it was a business battle in which Victor emerged the victor. After the evening party, we watched the light show on the top floor of the hotel, which reminded me of the bits and pieces of the past. Although Victor didn't recognize me now and was considered decisive and merciless by others, I still found him appealing in some way.
